StreamCache™ The GoBackTV StreamCache is a high-ingestion video server for Television on Demand (ToD), timeshifting, network PVR (nPVR), and Video on Demand (VoD) applications. It also supports Start Over and Look Back functionality. Each server is a 2RU unit which can currently provide up to 1700 hours of real-time storage, along with sufficient disk throughput to simultaneously ingest 100 digital channels and serve 480 independent, non-blocking 3.8Mbps video streams. StreamCache supports all video and audio codecs, at data rates up to 20Mbps. StreamCache servers are ideal for distributed and hybrid centralized/distributed architectures, and scale easily from small initial deployments to tens-of-thousands of streams. Data Sheets: |
